Lowell Elementary School's mobile app is the second implementation of a proprietary mobile content management/delivery framework designed specifically for schools.

This framework was developed to give schools and/or Parent/Teacher Organizations the access to an affordable solution to increase Parent/Teacher/Student communication and engagement with the school.

In a nutshell, the app centralizes all important school-related information, events, and links. It includes the following features:

Direct feed of Twitter and Facebook - no signup necessary.

Compose emails to your teachers and administration by simply opening the Contacts and touching their email.

Snapshot of the upcoming week's events on the school's calendar.

Receive push notifications directly from your school's administration. Know about School Closings, Events, and Emergencies.

Photo Upload so students, parents, and teachers can submit photos for the Yearbook or Contests directly from your phone.

Custom links can be created and pushed to the app upon request. Examples for Lowell include their School Handbook, PTA Volunteer Signups, Bus Routes, and the site to refill a child's lunch balance.
